Founder and Senior Instructor Pip Marsh was educated at the Royal Ballet School and spent eight years as a member of the Royal Ballet and then with Matthew Bourne’s Adventures in Motion Pictures. Pilates was invaluable in supporting her fitness and welfare not only as a dancer, but also in everyday life.
On retiring from dance in 2002, Pip re-trained and became an accredited Pilates instructor with ‘Stott Pilates’ graduating and teaching in Richmond & Kingston, Surrey.
In 2007 St Davids Pilates was born on moving to Pembrokeshire with her husband and young family. Pilates classes & Total barre classes continue to go from strength to strength
Pip teaches beginners, intermediate & advanced matwork classes in Solva, St Davids & St Davids Wellbeing Centre. Whilst having the private Studio in St Davids, Pip has also been know to run sessions at the beach and on a cliff top campsite or two in Pembrokeshire. She is delighted to be teaching Pilates to a local rowing club, sporting teams, holiday makers and lovely loyal collective of locals. Total Barre was introduced in 2015 and is proving to be a real hit.
